The game between Inter and Juventus had almost everything, and as always a performance from the referee that leaves non-Juventus fans a bit…puzzled. Of course Italian newspapers want to have their say about the Derby d’Italia and here is what three of the major sports newspapers thought of the clash at Stadio San Siro:

La Gazzetta dello Sport:

“Juventus gets back in the Scudetto race within two minutes. 1-2 to 3-2, Gonzalo Higuain in the 89th minute! Inter down to 10 men and not happy about it.”

Tuttosport:

“A crazy Juventus, Higuain with the decisive goal during the final minutes of the game. The black-and-whites score first thanks to Douglas Costa, then get a one-man advantage after Vecino sees red in the 13th minute. Inter comes back courageously but after the own goal signed Milan Skriniar, Higuain closes the game.”

Corriere della Sport:

“Monstrous Juventus! Up until the 87th minute, down by one goal, then Juventus freezes Inter. Game ruined by the referee, Vecino sent off after 15 minutes, Pjanic somehows survive.”
