Barcelona have rejected Inter’s request to loan Rafinha again as per reports coming out of the midfielder’s native Brazil.
Financial Fair Play restrictions made it impossible for Inter to raise the €35 million euros that would have made Rafinha an Inter player on a permanent basis. According to UOL Esporte, Inter has already tried to reach another loan deal with Barcelona (this time for a longer period with higher economic incentives) but got a firm no from the Catalans. In the meantime Inter is in constant contact with Mazinho, the father and agent of the player. Rafinha himself has many times stated that he wants to remain in Milan but does not want to intrude in the negotiations for his signature.
The 25-year-old made 17 appearances in Nerazzurri and scored three goals during his six month loan spell last season and captured the hearts of the Inter faithful for his passionate displays.
