The winger many Inter fans love to hate and the player surrounded by transfer rumors all summer, Antonio Candreva, was the man who scored the 3-0 goal that put the definitive nail in Bologna’s coffin at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.

The former Lazio man was interviewed by Italian TV channel Sky Sport Italia after the match in order to analyze the game where he scored his first goal in over a year: “This win is a sign of being compact and firm which corresponds well to our work here at Inter. We started off from the first half against Torino last Sunday and knew that this was going to be a tough game since all games in the Serie A are tough. We go home with a great result, especially since we have the international break now. We are happy and satisfied.”

Candreva was asked in conclusion if the Serie A began for Inter with this win: “It started on July 9th, now we want to have a great season and we restart from here. This victory allows us to work in a more calm way, we are an important team, that is why all teams we face give 100%. The second half reaction is something that we take with us from this game.”
