Inter’s Slovakian international central defender Milan Skriniar spoke exclusively to Inter TV after the Nerazzurri managed to beat SPAL 2-1 away after a brace from Argentinian striker Mauro Icardi.

The former Sampdoria player began by underlining the importance of the three points stating that “It is really important to continue this winning streak like we are doing at the moment. Now we have the international break and then we just have to continue with what we are doing now. SPAL is a very physical team but can also play with a lot of quality. For us it was important to win, even though we played far from a perfect game.”

The defender then continued: “After six wins in a row, you want to continue playing but now almost everyone of us is going away during the international break in order to play for our national teams. Then we will do everything we can in order to be as prepared as possible for the derby. This is a really strong group, but the game against Tottenham of course made us stronger.”
