Roberto Gagliardini commented on the tough defeat away at Atalanta and had the following to say about what went down this afternoon in Bergamo in an interview with Inter TV.

“The tough match against Barcelona may have had a bit of an impact on today’s performance, but that is not an excuse. We knew how Atalanta would play, but we simply did not manage to do what we are capable of on the pitch today. This was a tough loss and after the break we have to immediately get back on the right track. This must only be a bump. Having possession against this kind of play is hard and we have to be honest and say that we made too many mistakes, especially after winning the ball bac.”

Gagliardini then finished the interview by saying: “Every defeat makes you grow a bit, but the most important thing is to get back on the right track.”
