As a guest in the studio of Sky Sports, former AC Milan coach Fabio Capello commented on the elimination of Inter from the 2018/2019 Uefa Champions League, this is what he had to say.

“I think that Inter, during the first half against Juventus, played a great match. In that game in Turin, it was all to lose and nothing to gain for the black-and-blues. On the other hand, when Inter is faced with the fact that they must win, there is only one name to read on the scoreboard: Mauro Icardi. No one else. In this sense, Inter must for sure have an alternative.”

He then went on to speak about the way in which Inter conceded.

“This is a defensive blunder. Then after the 0-1 goal it is not that the team created a lot. Inter prove to be limited when the team just have to go on offence, perhaps they were missing Radja Nainggolan a lot.”
