Inter Milan are eyeing up a move for Parma midfielder Mandela Keita to replace Kristjan Asllani and Piotr Zielinski.

This according to Swiss broadcaster Sky Sport Switzerland, via FCInterNews. They report that the 23-year-old would cost at least €20 million.

Inter Milan are considering a midfield reshuffle this summer.

Kristjan Asllani is undoubtedly a player who the Nerazzurri would like to offload. After three seasons at the club, it is apparent that the Albanian is not quite at the required level.

Then, 31-year-old former Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski has not met expectations at Inter. Injuries have played a major role in his first season at the club.

If Inter can manage to find a new club for Asllani and Zielinski then they will look for a new midfield signing to replace them.

And Sky Sport Switzerland confirm that there is one name on Inter’s list who would be very familiar to their coach Cristian Chivu.

Belgian international midfielder Mandela Keita is a player who Chivu worked with Parma. The 23-year-old was a regular in the Gialloblu’s starting eleven under Chivu.

And Chivu would see Keita as having an ideal profile to reinforce the midfield in his tactical system.

Parma, for their part, are in no hurry to sell Keita. Sky Sport Switzerland confirm that the Emilian club would demand a fee of at least €20 million for the Belgian.
