Brother Marcus and Khephren Thuram were at the centre of the Derby d’Italia after Juventus emerged 4-3 victors against Inter Milan.

Marcus Thuram scored Inter’s third goal to put them 3-2 up against the Bianconeri heading into the last ten minutes.

However, his brother decided whatever Marcus could do, he could do better.

The French midfielder thumped home a header in the 82nd minute to tie the game up.

Youngster Vasilije Adzic then scored the winner in stoppage time for Juventus to claim all three points.

Italian newspaper Tuttosport discussed the two brothers in today’s edition, via FcInterNews.

They report a tale of two brothers, with one elated and one dejected after the derby.

Furthermore, the duo’s father and ex-Juventus legend Lilian Thuram will also be a happy, and proud, Dad.

Inter’s Thuram was at the centre of a social media storm after the game.

An image posted appeared to show the Inter forward laughing with his brother at full-time, something Nerazzurri fans are not happy about.

Head coach Cristian Chivu was asked about the incident in his post-match press conference.

However, the Romanian was quick to shut down any controversy or discussion: “I don’t know, I didn’t see it.”

“But let’s stop creating controversy,” he added, “because putting obstacles in the way doesn’t help anyone.”
