Inter Milan and Juventus were reportedly expected to battle it out for the signature of Tottenham Hotspur star Guglielmo Vicario in the summer.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInter1908, the Bianconeri are now focusing on other targets for the upcoming transfer window.

Guglielmo Vicario has grown frustrated with Tottenham’s underwhelming results in the Premier League.

Therefore, he is reportedly keen to return to Serie A, three years after leaving Empoli for North London.

Meanwhile, Inter have identified him as a perfect long-term replacement for the outgoing Yann Sommer.

Despite showing interest in the 29-year-old, Juventus are unlikely to make their move at the end of the season.
