La Gazzetta dello Sport has published its’ probable Inter lineup to face Genoa at the Meazza tomorrow.
Out of the squad are Ranocchia, Juan Jesus, and Kovacic, all through suspension. Nagatomo is also out via the Asian Cup taking place in Australia. Osvaldo is on a club-imposed suspension, may be leaving and will not make the squad as a result. As anxious as tifosi are to see Shaqiri play all the sooner, he has been deemed by Mancini as “not ready to play” although he may still make a cameo appearance to appease fans.
According to La Gazzetta, Inter will change shape from the Christmas Tree 4-3-2-1 formation to a 4-2-3-1. Palacio could return in a wide position, and Andreolli and Vidic are expected to start in the central defense as Mancini named them. The full backs are likely to remain the same as they were against Juventus, and Hernanes will push up to occupy Kovacic’ position.

Why do people prefer obi over kuzmanovic, obi doesn’t add anything to the game… all he did was score against milan.. and im my opinion it was lucky, kuzmanovic is not inter material but obi is worse
If Guarin will not play,then Obi should be used in his position.Kuz doesn’t deserve to start a single match of a season

Of course i prefer Shaqiri to start and not Palacio, but because he just came he will
start like Poldi, from the bench.( maybe it is more fair ).
On the others i prefer D’Ambrosio to play as RB and not LB.
And Guarin was good in more defensive role in Turin, he did well with Pogba, so i
prefer him over Kuz.
Shaqiri isn’t fit enough too play the whole game, according to mancini. I think he will join as a substitution towards the end of the game.
Maybe it like that, but maybe is the way Mancio prefer to respect players like Palacio.Why Shaqiri is not fit? Was he training less with Bayern than Inter train our players? In BPL they were playing during Christmas and New Year, they were training every day, so Poldi was fit more than any our player before Juve game and he started from bench.But as i say maybe it more fair way, because Shaqiri trained only once with a team, as Poldi did before Juve.

At the moment D’Ambrosio will most likely to play on the left side of the field, because of Mancini prefers Campagnaro to fill in the right side
Seems like the best choices given the situation with suspensions. Maybe Dodo instead of Campagnaro. But I guess Dodo would be a more offensive choice and that’s not what we need starting against Genoa.
Glad to see Guarin not in the starting 11.
