Inter couldn’t find a way to incorporate Gabriel into the squad and are now looking to loan him out, preferably in Italy as stated by the manager.
Gabriel is unsettled and now being monitored by Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City.
A statement by Wagner Ribeiro:
“Gabriel is not happy at the moment,” Ribeiro told Radio Bandeirantes.
“It’s not about dressing room issues with his teammates, the problem is that he’s never had a chance to take to the pitch.
“We want the situation to be resolved in January, De Boer told Kia Joorbchian shortly before he was sacked that there was no problem with Gabriel, but even now Pioli, just like the Dutchman, isn’t giving the lad a chance.”

Inter are terrible with young players generally, we all know that. But Gabigol also arrived at the worst possible time, when the team is in a building phase, trying to find some kinda identity.
Its not a favourable environment for any young player.
But we can’t just do that after all the hype our management builds before signing him. It sorta destroy our image.
Gabigol is surely a talent and everyone knew it and people are waiting for him. If we sell him just after less than 20 minutes then it will cause problems in the future.
Other youth talents will think a thousand times the next time Inter come to offer a place. Like.. they will just say ‘look what they’ve done to Gabigol ? Even with those promises they made, and with such talent. Even they paid big money to his family.’
Then what can we say to convince our next young stars ?

Inters reputation forhandling young players is already in the dumpster, so it doesnt matter much.
Inter shouldnt sign players for the first team who are below 24 year old tbh.
Atleast not until there is a stable core of experienced first team players, then there might be room to let a young player develop. But that might not happen for years to come.
But what I don’t get is what does inter have to lose by giving this guy a chance, I have never seen a team by a player worth that much and not even use him as a substitute
A chance won’t be enough for this guy, let’s say he plays 30 mins against Genoa, ofc he’ll fail cuz there’s a lot of pressure on him considering that he played only 16 mins this season.
