Inter president Steven Zhang is expected to finally arrive back in Milan tomorrow, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Gazzetta.it said Zhang was hoping to pay the Nerazzurri’s players and coaching staff a visit at Appiano Gentile on Friday, ahead of Saturday’s big Serie A match at Crotone.

Antonio Conte’s side need four points from their last five games to secure the club’s first league title since 2010, but it could be confirmed as early as Sunday if they win and Atalanta don’t beat Sassuolo.

Inter will once again be without Arturo Vidal and Aleksandar Kolarov at the Stadio Ezio Scida, after the pair both continued to train separately from their teammates today.

Zhang is due to hold talks with Conte and Inter’s directors at some point before the end of the season, in order to provide clarity about Suning’s plans for the club.

He will not follow Conte’s side to Crotone on Saturday though, where Inter could move to within one point of the Serie A title with victory.

A report elsewhere today claimed Inter had no plan of selling any key players in the summer, although other sources suggested they could sacrifice the likes of Lautaro Martinez or Christian Eriksen.

Zhang is thought to have secured a €250 million loan from Bain Capital, which will help Inter cover all their costs until the summer.
