Ciro Immobile could leave Lazio this summer, and Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi would be very keen on a reunion.

This according to Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, who report that a shock departure could be on the cards for the Italian international, with the Nerazzurri one potential destination.

On paper, a transfer away for Immobile would seem to be quite improbable.

The 33-year-old is Lazio’s all-time top scorer. He continues to be a vital player in attack for the Biancocelesti.

Moreover, Lazio are back in the Champions League and will hardly want to sell their biggest stars.

However, TMW claims, Lazio do not consider Immobile untouchable this summer.

The Italian outlet reports that the Biancocelesti would be willing to listen to offers for their main man in attack.

Inter Coach Simone Inzaghi Keen If Ciro Immobile Leaves Lazo

According to TMW, there are yet to be any particularly serious negotiations regarding Immobile.

However, the outlet notes, Inter are keeping an eye on the situation. They are thinking about a move in the event that they feel that Lazio would really be willing to cash in on Immobile.

Inter do need to sign forwards during the summer window.

Edin Dzeko has one foot out the door as he nears a move to Fenerbahce on a free transfer.

Meanwhile, Joaquin Correa is expected to leave, with Premier League duo Everton and West Ham United showing interest.

Moreover, the situation of Romelu Lukaku remains up in the air as TMW notes. The Belgian wants to stick around next season, but Inter will have to negotiate a new loan deal.

Particularly if Inter need to replace Lukaku, TMW reports, they could decide to go after Immobile.

Nerazzurri coach Inzaghi would very much fancy the idea of signing the Azzurri star. He got the best out of Immobile whilst coaching the Biancocelesti, and would be ready to embrace the striker at Inter.
