Inter Milan have lined up Shakhtar Donetsk Anatoliy Trubin as their priority replacement for Man United target Andre Onana.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 21-year-old Ukrainian international is ahead of Valencia’s Giorgio Mamardashvili and Atalanta’s Marco Carnesecchi on the Nerazzurri’s shortlist.

There is very real chance that Inter could lose goalkeeper Onana this summer.

It becomes more and more likely as Premier League giants Manchester United push for the Cameroonian’s signature.

If Onana leaves, finding a replacement will be one of the most important pieces of business on Inter’s agenda for the summer.

And, according to the Corriere, the Nerazzurri know who they want to go after.

Inter Milan Keen On Shakhtar Star Trubin To Replace Onana If Man United Move Happens

According to the Corriere, 21-year-old Shakhtar keeper Trubin has emerged at the top of the Nerazzurri’s shortlist.

Despite his young age, the Ukrainian international already looks like a player who is ready for the highest level.

Moreover, the fact that Trubin is out of contract next June mean that he could prove fairly straightforward to dislodge from Shakhtar. The Ukrainian side know that this summer may be their last chance to cash in on Trubin for a fee.

In the meantime, the Corriere also note that Inter are still tracking Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili.

However, the price tag for the 22-year-old Georgian international could prove an impediment. Valencia are asking for €25 million for Mamardashvili, the Corriere reports.

One more player who Inter are tracking to replace Onana is Atalanta keeper Marco Carnesecchi. The 23-year-old is back at La Dea after a season on loan with Cremonese last time around.

In the meantime, the Corriere additionally report that Inter captain Samir Handanovic could stay another season. The Slovenian’s task could be to stabilize the goalkeeping situation after Onana departs and a replacement arrives.
