Young Inter Milan midfielder Gaetano Oristanio has agreed terms regarding a loan move to newly-promoted Cagliari.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, via FCInterNews, who report that the 20-year-old is ready to sign a two-year loan deal, although the two clubs must still work out the exact structure of the deal.

Oristanio is edging closer to a loan to Cagliari for next season.

Oristanio’s agent has already confirmed that he’ll be playing in Serie A next season.

Two promoted clubs had already reportedly taken an interest in loaning the Inter midfielder, in the form of Genoa and Frosinone.

However, it looks to be the Rossoblu who are moving quickly to secure a deal to sign the young midfielder.

The Sardinians have been working quickly to find the agreement. On the player’s end, Oristanio is prepared to sign a two-year loan deal with Cagliari.

However, with Inter there is not yet an agreement in place. They key matter is whether or not there will be a purchase option in the deal.

Cagliari want there to be one, whilst Inter are not so keen.
