River Plate Close To Making Inter Milan Offer For Facundo Colidio

In Argentina, the very biggest clubs have stepped up with an interest in signing Colidio.

The Argentine striker’s former club Boca have reportedly been keen.

However, according to La Pagina Millionaria, it is now Boca’s arch rivals River who are in the strongest position to get a deal done.

The striker will fly to Buenos Aires tomorrow. There, he will prepare to put the finishing touches on his move to River.

Colidio has already agreed terms with River.

Now, the Argentine giants just have to find an agreement with Inter. And, La Pagina Millionaria report, they will try and make the decisive push very soon.

Since joining Inter from Boca, Colidio never quite found form.

Colidio had a promising spell on loan at Sint-Truiden in the Belgian top flight between 2019 and 2021. However, during the summer transfer window of 2021 things did not work out for the young striker.

Colidio had appeared to be close to a loan move to Austria Vienna for the 2021-22 season. However, that move fell apart close to deadline day.

There was not time enough to locate a different loan club for Colidio before the end of the window.

However, a return to his home country has seen Colidio spread his wings. Now he is on the verge of a big move in his home country.
