Juventus and Al-Hilal are in the driver’s seat to sign Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea rather than Inter Milan.

This is the claim in today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who reiterate the sensational claim that the Belgian would be happy to join either of the pair and that the Nerazzurri’s negotiations with Chelsea will fail.

Currently, Lukaku’s future is in the balance.

Most reports suggest that the player’s stance is the same as it’s always been – he only wants Inter this summer.

However, that has not stopped some rumours of a shock move to Juventus from emerging.

Yesterday, the Corriere dello Sport emphatically claimed that Lukaku would in fact be happy to accept a move to the Bianconeri.

The newspaper reports that Juventus are mulling over a bid. And that Lukaku himself is not necessarily as inclined to reject their offer out of hand as some reports would seem to suggest.

Juventus & Al-Hilal Could Still Be In The Race To Sign Lukaku Ahead Of Chelsea

The Corriere note that a sale of Dusan Vlahovic would be key for Juventus to land a shock deal for Lukaku.

The Serb is reportedly on Chelsea’s radar, and could be part of a player exchange.

Alternatively, the Corriere report, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, and Manchester United are interested in the 23-year-old Serb who Juventus value at at least €70 million.

Meanwhile, Al-Hilal also want Lukaku.

And, the Corriere claim, a move to the Saudi Pro League club is not as far-fetched for Lukaku as it might appear.

The newspaper suggest that, despite the player reportedly rejecting Al-Hilal’s interest out of hand, he had also shown a willingness to be part of a package deal to the Saudi club with former Nerazzurri teammate Marcelo Brozovic.

Chelsea would like to make a deal with Al-Hilal. The Saudi Pro League club are offering €50 million in straight cash.

If Lukaku shows zero willingness to join Al-Hilal, then naturally Chelsea cannot think of sending him off there.

However, the Corriere suggests, that won’t necessarily be the case. The newspaper claim that in spite of reports of Lukaku’s iron will to join Inter, he would be receptive to Al-Hilal.
