Inter Milan will come up against two familiar faces during preseason – Al-Nassr’s Marcelo Brozovic, and Paris Saint-Germain’s Milan Skriniar.

This is highlighted by Italian news outlet FCInter1908, who note that the Nerazzurri are going to be coming up against two players who made high-profile transfers away from the San Siro just a couple weeks ago as part of their preseason tour of Japan.

Inter are starting to gear up for their preseason preparations.

The team get back to training in just under a week. The squad will convene at the Nerazzurri’s training centre on Wednesday, July 13 to start getting back into condition for the upcoming season.

The first order of business after that will be the traditional friendly match against Swiss Super League side Lugano. That match, at the Nerazzurri’s training ground on June 18, will kick things off in earnest.

Next up, Inter will depart for their preseason tour of Japan. The team leave on the 23rd for the country.

There, the Nerazzurri will play two friendly matches.

In each of these, they will take the pitch against a big name player who only a few weeks ago was donning their own kit.

First off is Marcelo Brozovic.

The Croatian international midfielder joined Al-Nassr last week from the Nerazzurri.

By coincidence, Al-Nassr are the team who Inter will be facing in their first friendly match, on July 27th.

After that match, Inter will face French champions Paris Saint-Germain on August 1st. That match could pit the Nerazzurri against defender Milan Skriniar after he left the San Siro on a free transfer.

After that, the final piece of Inter’s preseason puzzle will be a friendly match against Austrian champions Red Bull Salzburg.

That match will take place in August when the team are back from their tour of Japan.
