Sevilla and Morocco goalkeeper Yassine Bounou is on Inter Milan’s shortlist of possible targets to replace Andre Onana.

This according to Spanish news outlet AS, via FCInterNews, who report that Tottenham Hotspur and Al-Nassr are also keen on signing the 32-year-old.

Whilst Onana is still an Inter player, things are moving fast in Manchester United’s efforts to sign the 27-year-old.

Reportedly, the Red Devils have already agreed terms with Onana on a five-year contract. Then, they will soon make Inter an offer for the Cameroonian.

The Nerazzurri are bracing for an exit of Onana. Barring any late surprises, they expect that they’ll accept an offer from United and sell their goalkeeper.

Therefore, finding a replacement for the Cameroonian will become a priority for Inter.

Not least because Inter captain Samir Handanovic could also leave.

The Nerazzurri have been looking at experienced options like Yann Sommer, Keylor Navas, and Hugo Lloris. Then, there are more youthful profiles such as Anatoliy Trubin, Marco Carnesecchi, and Giorgi Mamardashvili.

Meanwhile, Inter had already hoped to go after Guglielmo Vicario, before Tottenham snapped him up.

Morocco Star Yassine Bounou On Inter Milan’s Radar To Replace Andre Onana

According to Onana, Inter are also monitoring 32-year-old Moroccan international Bounou.

Despite being well into his thirties now, the Europa League winner still feels that he has plenty to offer.

Moreover, the fact that ex-Eibar keeper Marko Dimitrovic is in favour under Sevilla coach Jose Luis Mendillibar could open the door for a Bounou exit.

Given that Inter’s plan is to sign both an experienced keeper at the European level, and a player with potential to grow in the seasons to come, Bounou could be a natural target for the former role.

The Moroccan showed his quality with his national team at the World Cup. Then, in Sevilla’s run to winning the Europa League last season, he also played his part.
