Feyenoord right-back Marcus Holmgren Pedersen has been offered to Inter Milan, who are instead focused on a move for Spezia’s Emil Holm.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

Inter will in all likelihood move to sign a right-sided wingback this summer.

With Matteo Darmian having a role at centre-back, the Nerazzurri will not want Denzel Dumfries to be the only specialist right-wingback in the squad. Squad depth is a priority going into what promises to be another very long season.

As to what the identity of that player will be, that is still somewhat up in the air.

Spezia star Holm looks to be a serious target. The 23-year-old will almost certainly leave Liguria this summer after his club suffered relegation to Serie B.

And there is interest in the Swede’s signature from clubs in the top flight, including from Inter. Reportly, the Nerazzurri are ready to accelerate in their chase.

Meanwhile, the likes of Torino’s Wilfried Singo and Club Brugge and Canada star Tajon Buchanan are also on Inter’s radar.

Feyenoord Starlet Marcus Pedersen Offered To Inter – Nerazzurri Prefer Emil Holm

According to the Corriere, another possible candidate has emerged.

The newspaper report that agent Enzo Raiola has met with Inter. The purpose of his visit was to propose the possibility of a transfer for Norwegian international right-back Pedersen.

Having joined Feyenoord in the summer of 2021 from Malmo, Pedersen has made 87 appearances for the Dutch champions in the past two seasons.

In his first campaign, the Norwegian came off the bench in the Conference League final against Roma.

Then, last time around the 22-year-old made forty appearances in all competitions, and 29 in the league as Feyenoord won the Eredivisie title.

According to the Corriere, however, Inter are lukewarm on Pedersen as a target. Rather, Spezia’s Holm is the player they want to go after.
