Inter Milan have inquired about loaning out-of-favour Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInter1908, who report that the Bavarians would be open to letting the 21-year-old leave on a loan deal.

Marcelo Brozovic has left for Al-Nassr, and in his place Davide Frattesi has arrived from Sassuolo.

However, Roberto Gagliardini has also left the club. The former Atalanta man had been the “sixth” midfielder in the rotation last season, and Inter won’t want to go without replacing him.

For the long and gruelling season ahead, the Nerazzurri will aim to have six midfielders.

Accordingly, the club are searching far and wide for a possible target to replace Gagliardini.

Udinese’s Lazar Samardzic is one player on Inter’s radar in this search. However, the 21-year-old won’t necessarily come cheap.

Meanwhile, Roberto Pereyra is likely to join Besiktas on a free transfer. Therefore, the Nerazzurri will miss out on the ex-Juventus and Watford man who was one of their main low-cost targets.

Inter Milan Considering A Move For Bayern Midfielder Ryan Gravenberch

According to Tuttosport, Inter are in talks with Udinese for Samardzic.

However, with Napoli and AC Milan also in the race, it could be tough to sign the former RB Leipzig man. Particularly with the Friulani holding out for €20 million.

Inter would like to sign Samardzic on an initial loan deal, but the probability of their convincing Udinese of such a deal currently looks low.

On the other hand, Gravenberch could be available on loan. The former Ajax man would represent a similar young profile to Samardzic.

Despite arriving at the Allianz Arena with big expectations, Gravenberch has not really made a major impact.

A total of 937 minutes played last season, generally in matches considered less important, did little to convince the German champions.

He could, therefore, try to restart his form at Inter.
