Inter Milan haven’t made Sampdoria an offer to sign goalkeeper Emil Audero.

This according to SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla, who reported live on air via FCInter1908 that the Nerazzurri will focus their attention on getting a deal done for Yann Sommer and then move on to Anatoliy Trubin rather than the Blucerchiati man.

In the past couple days, reports have emerged that Inter were getting ready to make Sampdoria an offer for Audero.

The Nerazzurri are still yet to make a goalkeeping signing this summer.

Andre Onana has already made the move to Manchester United official last week.

The fact that Inter captain Samir Handanovic has also left the club means that the Nerazzurri are currently without a starting-quality senior goalkeeper in their squad.

Inter have been pushing to wrap up a deal for Bayern Munich’s Yann Sommer. The ex-Borussia Monchengladbach keeper is the player they have designated as a short-term replacement for Onana.

Meanwhile, Anatoliy Trubin is a persistent target for the Nerazzurri. They could either this summer for a fee, or try for next summer on a free transfer.

But the distance between Inter and Trubin’s club Shakhtar on a fee is still massive. So negotiations are far from striaghtforward.

Inter Milan Haven’t Made An Offer For Audero – Still Focused On Sommer & Trubin

The continued obstacles in Inter’s pursuit of both Sommer and Trubin has led to reports that they could decude to make an offer for Audero.

There is little doubt that the 26-year-old will be available this summer.

Sampdoria’s relegation last season means that the Ligurians can hardly keep hold of a player of his quality.

Pedulla notes that there were rumours that Inter would be ready to offer €7 million to Sampdoria for Audero.

However, today has come and gone, and he reports that there has not been an offer.

Instead, Pedulla anticipates, Inter are keeping their strategy the same as it’s been in the past couple weeks.

The Nerazzurri want to make one final push to wrap up a deal for Sommer in the next day or two.

Then, they will do what they can in negotiations for Trubin.
