Chelsea and former Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku has poured some cold water on transfer links with Juvnetus.

Speaking to a fan outside of Anderlecht’s training ground, the Belgian stated that he “doesn’t think the move will happen.”

This summer has seen the situation between Lukaku and inter turn into a real soap opera.

It has not, however, just been between the 30-year-old and the Nerazzurri – Inter’s bitter rivals Juventus have also played a prominent role in the situation.

Reports suggest that Lukaku and his agent had been negotiating with the Bianconeri behind Inter’s back.

This, it is reported, is what caused Inter to abruptly pull the plug on talks to sign Lukaku.

That has, naturally, led to no shortage about whether the Belgian could make the shock move to Juventus this summer.

The Turin giants would almost certainly have to sell striker Dusan Vlahovic first. Then, they’d have to agree a deal with Chelsea.

And, moreover, Lukaku would have to accept the move.

Whilst the Belgian has certainly already alienated many Inter fans with reports of his serious negotiations with the Bianconeri, actually making the move and playing for the Nerazzuri’s Derby d’Italia rivals would be another matter altogether.

Romelu Lukaku Says He “Doesn’t Expect Juventus Move To Happen”

Many Inter fans have been left baffled by the turn the Lukaku saga has taken.

Reports have suggested that the Belgian even refused to answer phone calls from former Nerazzurri teammates.

Inter captain Lautaro Martinez has confirmed this.

Then, the player himself has hit out at the speculation and media stories in cryptic social media posts.

Therefore, Inter fans are naturally left wondering what the real truth is.

One Nerazzurri supporter go a hold out Lukaku outside the Anderlecht training ground.

They asked the Belgian whether, if he joined Juventus, he would say “Forza Juve.”

“No, no, absolutely never,” the striker replied.

He then added that “I don’t expect the move to happen anyway.”
