Aleksandar Kolarov Confirms Rafaela Pimenta Statements About Lazar Samardzic-Inter Milan Transfer Circus: ‘Mladen Telling A Lot Of Lies’

Aleksandar Kolarov confirms statements from Rafaela Pimenta regarding the transfer saga between Lazar Samardzic and Inter Milan.

Speaking to Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, the Serbian backed up claims that the agent made about how she came to represent Udinese midfielder Lazar Samardzic during his failed transfer to the Nerazzurri.

Today has been a dramatic day in the ongoing soap opera between Inter and Samardzic.

The Serbian midfielder’s father Mladen Samardzic gave an Inter earlier in the day. Mladen claimed that he had never, as Lazar’s agent, authorized Pimenta to represent the player.

This is the crux of why he and the 21-year-old’s entourage asked Inter for new financial demands, he claims.

However, Pimenta has given a much different version of events. The agent claims that former Inter, Roma, Manchester City, and Lazio midfielder Kolarov had introduced her to Samardzic.

And, Pimenta has claimed, the player, his family, and his entourage were all in total cooperation all the way. Including during the Serb’s move to the Nerazzurri.

And according to Kolarov, she is telling the truth – it is Samardzic’s father Mladen who is not telling the truth.

Kolarov Confirms Pimenta’s Version Of Events With Samardzic & Inter

For his part, Kolarov said that “I can fully confirm Rafaela Pimenta’s version of events.”

“I was the one who introduced him to her,” the former Serbian international went on. “And I also attended some meetings along with my brother.”

“Her version of events is absolutely true. I’m disappointed to her a lot of lies from the player’s father.”

According to Pimenta, Kolarov had suggested that she and Samardzic get in touch.

Then, it was she who handled the 21-year-old’s situation during this summer transfer window. Including negotiating his transfer to Inter.

She claims that she was working alongside Samardzic’s family the entire time.

Mladen Samardzic, by contrast, claims that he only ever spoke with Pimenta on a single occasion.

According to Kolarov, it is the agent who is telling the truth in this situation.
