Inter Milan could move to sign out-of-favour Spurs midfielder Tanguy Ndombele late in the transfer window.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInter1908, who report that the Nerazzurri have made contact with the London-based side about the possibility of loaning the Frenchman in the final couple of days before the window slams shit.

Inter have already made eleven signings this summer.

The arrival of Benjamin Pavard from Bayern Munich takes the Nerazzurri’s count well into the double digits.

But Inter may not be done. Reports suggest that they are still working to make one more midfield signing before the end of the window.

Lazar Samardzic had looked to be on the verge of arriving from Udinese.

However, that deal fell through in dramatic circumstances.

Therefore, at the moment, Stefano Sensi (who is back on loan from Monza) is for all intents and purposes the replacement for Roberto Gagliardini in the Nerazzurri’s squad.

However, Inter could still look to make a signing in the position.

And according to FCIN1908, Spurs midfielder Ndombele is a name they are seriously considering.

Inter Milan Could Make Late Swoop For Spurs Outcast Tanguy Ndombele

According to FCIN1908, Inter are starting to lay the groundwork for a possible move to sign Ndombele in the final couple of days in the window.

The 26-year-old former Lyon midfielder hardly has a place in Tottenham’s plans for this season.

Spurs signed Ndombele in the summer of 2019 under then-coach Mauricio Pochettino.

However, the French international struggled to find form. Then, under Jose Mourinho, he continued to show erratic form, with some good performances alternating with less inspiring ones.

Ndombele was out of favour under Antonio Conte, and so he spent last season at Napoli.

However, despite managing to pick up a Serie A title with the Partenopei, Ndombele did not play a very prominent role in that triumph.

Therefore, Napoli did not make Ndombele’s signing a permanent one.

The 26-year-old is back at Spurs, where he has yet to feature under new coach Ange Postecoglou.

Therefore, the Londoners could be amenable to loaning the midfielder out for the season.

Inter are sounding Spurs out. They do see Ndombele as a possible last-minute solution to add a reinforcement to their midfield without having to spend big.
