Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi has decided to start Matteo Darmian and Denzel Dumfries on the right against Frosinone. This evening’s Serie A matchday twelve clash at the San Siro has kickoff scheduled for 20.45 CET.

This evening, Inzaghi has made quite a few changes compared to the team that beat Red Bull Salzburg in the Champions League.

Firstly, the coach has put Denzel Dumfries back into the team.

The Dutchman had not played either from the start or the bench against Salzburg, needing a rest. However, he’s back in the starting eleven this evening.

With players like Benjamin Pavard and Juan Cuadrado out, Inter are a bit thin on the ground on the right side of the pitch.

That means that Matteo Darmian starts on the right.

Yann Bisseck had started in the Champions League against Salzburg. And Stefan de Vrij had played the second half in the role.

However, neither Bisseck nor de Vrij start this evening. Instead, it is Darmian who drops back.

Meanwhile, Italian international duo Francesco Acerbi and Alessandro Bastoni form the rest of Inter’s back three.

Secondly, on the flanks Italian international joins Dumfries to form the Nerazzurri’s wingback duo.

Brazilian Carlos Augusto had started on the left against Salzburg.

However, Dimarco replaces Augusto in the role.

Thirdly, in midfield Nicolo Barella starts. The Italian had begun the match against Salzburg as a substitute, coming on in the second half.

But he starts this evening.

Nicolo Barella & Lautaro Martinez Start

Fourthly, in attack, Inter captain Lautaro Martinez is back in the starting eleven.

The 26-year-old had gotten a rest against Salzburg from the start. However, he came off the bench to score the winner late on from the penalty spot.

And Martinez is back in the lineup, partnering Marcus Thuram in attack.

Meanwhile, Inter’s deadline day signing Davy Klaassen is available on the bench.

And in other team news, Marko Arnautovic is in the matchday squad.

The Austrian had been in the squad against Salzburg as well, although he was an unused substitute.

Having been unavailable for around six weeks through a thigh injury, Arnautovic could make his return to the pitch this evening.
