Defender Yann Bisseck was “all over the place” after coming on for Inter Milan in yesterday’s Serie A clash with Roma.
Today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, criticize the German’s positional sense and reading of the game in the 0-1 loss.
Defender Yann Bisseck was called into action earlier than he’ll have expected yesterday against Roma.
Benjamin Pavard got the start on the right side of Inter’s back three.
However, the Frenchman picked up an ankle injury early on in the first half.
Therefore, Yann Bisseck had to come on as a like-for-like substitute for Pavard.

However, Bisseck really struggled to get to grips with the match.
It was not the easiest of matches in which to be thrown into for Yann Bisseck.
And that showed in the 24-year-old’s performance. He had a certain deer-in-headlights quality at times as Roma overran Inter and managed to drive at their penalty area with some regularity.
Therefore, Bisseck failed to make any effective defensive interventions.
Then, in the second half as Inter had much of the possession chasing an equalizer, Bisseck offered little.
At times for Inter, the Germany international has shown that he can really dictate the attack from the back. But there was little forward drive from him yesterday.
