Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi is remaining coy around his future as Inter Milan and Juventus look to sign him this summer.

The 23-year-old joked to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, that if he says too much about his future, it could annoy the club directors at his current club Sassuolo.

Neroverdi midfielder Frattesi increasingly looks set for a transfer away from Emilia-Romagna this summer.

After two very impressive seasons at the Mapei Stadium, he is on the radar of some of Serie A’s elite.

Inter have pushed to sign Frattesi, getting themselves into pole position in the race for his signature.

In the meantime, Juventus aren’t giving up on the 23-year-old Italy international altogether.

The Bianconeri could offers players going the other way to try and convince Sassuolo to sell Frattesi, who’s also a target for Roma, Brighton and Hove Albion, Newcastle United, and Paris Saint-Germain.

Clearly, a race for Frattesi’s signature looks to be on the cards. His form playing for Italy in the Nations League has hardly diminished interest in signing the 23-year-old.

For his part, Frattesi has chosen to stay fairly tight-lipped about what his future holds.

Sky asked the midfielder where he thinks he will end up going next.

“You’ll have to ask my club director,” he joked. “Otherwise I’m going to get some angry messages from him!”

Frattesi has already admitted, however, that he wants his next club to be in Italy.

Despite the fact that teams abroad have shown interest, particularly the Premier League, the Azzurri starlet wants to stay put. This will certainly give a boost to the likes of Inter and Juventus in their chase.

Frattesi made a total of 36 Serie A appearances in the season just gone. He scored eight goals in the process.
