Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund is still Inter Milan’s top target in attack despite links with Stuttgart’s Nick Woltemande.
This according to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan are aiming to make at least one major attacking signing this summer. And in all likelihood, two.
Marko Arnautovic and Joaquin Correa are out the door with their contracts expiring. Meanwhile, the future of Mehdi Taremi uncertain.
Therefore, the Nerazzurri must bolster their attacking depth.
And by all accounts, the priority for Inter is to focus on younger profiles rather than veterans like the players who are leaving.
Rasmus Hojlund Still Inter Milan’s Top Target Despite Woltermande Links
Parma’s Ange-Yoan Bonny is one name that has been persistently linked as far as Inter’s search for a striker goes.
Meanwhile, Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund is also a major target. He would cost even more than Bonny would.
Therefore, Inter are also reportedly considering a move for Stuttgart forward Nick Woltemande.
The German would be one alternative to Hojlund in the same age bracket.
However, reports the Gazzetta, Hojlund is still the top target for the Nerazzurri. They are ready to push to try and sign the 23-year-old Danish international.
On the other hand, Woltemande would be more of a backup target should Inter fail to sign Hojlund.
