Inter Milan have made clear to Man United and Real Madrid that they have no intention of selling wingback Federico Dimarco.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. The newspaper also reports that the Nerazzurri are ready to sell Robin Gosens and bring in Monza’s Carlos Augusto.

Dimarco has proved to be a real revelation this season for Inter.

At the start of the season just gone, Dimarco was more of a squad player than a starter for Inter.

The versatile defender had played plenty of football in the previous season. He was used in both the left-wingback role, and on the left side of the back three.

However, Ivan Perisic and Alessandro Bastoni were the clear first-choice options in the positions respectively.

This time around, however, Dimarco has played almost exclusively at wingback.

And the Italian international has made the role his own.

Inter Send Real Madrid & Man United A Clear Message – Dimarco Not For Sale

Both of Real Madrid and Manchester United are interested in signing Dimarco.

However, the Nerazzurri would have absolutely no intention of selling the 25-year-old. In fact, they are ready to hand Dimarco a new contract in the coming months to ward off interest.

According to the Gazzetta, both Real and United have gotten a clear response from Inter.

The Nerazzurri plan to rebuff any interest in Dimarco.

And for his part, the player would have little intention of leaving as he is happy at his boyhood club Inter.

Inter Targeting Monza’s Augusto To Replace Gosens

Whilst Dimarco will stay, Inter are ready to make one notable change on the left flank.

The Gazzetta report that the Nerazzurri are prepared to listen to offers for Gosens.

The German is a target for all of Union Berlin, Wolfsburg, and Bournemouth.

To replace Gosens, the Nerazzurri would want a player who can deputize for Dimarco rather than a new first-choice starter.

Monza wingback Carlos Augusto is the player Inter have in mind to replace the German.
