Inter Milan are aiming to seal a deal to sign Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi imminently, with Wednesday the decisive day.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri will try and move swiftly to wrap up the signing of the 23-year-old right after they finalize the sale of midfielder Marcelo Brozovic to Al-Nassr.

Inter are pushing to sign Neroverdi and Italy star Davide Frattesi for next season.

The Azzurri man has emerged as a key target for Inter as they aim to strengthen in midfield. He can provide both immediate quality as well as freshen up an aging squad.

However, the Nerazzurri will have to beat Juventus, Roma, AC Milan, and Lazio to Frattesi’s signature. The race for the 23-year-old’s signature has been heating up in the past couple of weeks.

During the period, a number of meetings have taken place. Sassuolo have met with several clubs as well as with Frattesi’s agent to work out the player’s future.

Inter Milan Want To Sell Marcelo Brozovic Then Sign Davide Frattesi

A key part of Inter’s plan to sign Frattesi has always looked to be selling Marcelo Brozovic first.

The Croat’s departure would free up space in the Nerazzurri’s squad for the Neroverdi man. Moreover, the fee from a sale of Brozovic would give Inter the cash they need to make a deal for Frattesi.

Now Brozovic looks to be on the verge of a move to Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr.

Inter will reportedly pocket around €23 million from the deal. This will be enough to allow them to move for Frattesi.

As such, SportItalia reports, the Nerazzurri are not going to wait around very long.

With the sale of Brozovic expected to be all done early this coming week, Inter will move fast. SportItalia report that on Wednesday the Nerazzurri want to make the decisive move to sign Frattesi.
