Marcus Thuram isn’t the only signing Inter Milan are completing in the next few days, with Chelsea’s Cesar Azpilicueta and Aarhus’s Yann Bisseck also on the way.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

Inter have already made one big signing for next season – Marcus Thuram has signed on a free transfer from Borussia Monchengladbach.

However, the Nerazzurri aren’t stopping there. They also have deals on the way for two defenders.

First, there is Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta.

With Milan Skriniar leaving on a free transfer and Danilo D’Ambrosio also facing an uncertain future, the Nerazzurri have made a player who can slot in on the right side of their back three a priority.

Spanish veteran Azpilicueta is the man that they’ve chosen in this respect.

The former Marseille and Osasuna man turns 34 in August, but the Nerazzurri still back him to slot into their back three in Serie A.

Inter Milan To Follow Marcus Thuram Deal With Azpilicueta

According to the Corriere, everything is ready for Azpilicueta to arrive.

Inter and the 33-year-old have agreed terms on a two-year contract. He has already committed his future to the Nerazzurri.

The only thing needed now is for Chelsea to release Azpilicueta from his contract.

Reportedly, the Blues will agree a termination of their captain’s deal, which has one year left on it, by mutual consent.

This should happen in the next few days. Then, Azpilicueta will quickly become an Inter Milan player.

Bisseck To Sign After Under-21 Euros

Meanwhile, Germany Under-21 international Bisseck is also close to becoming a Nerazzurri player.

The 22-year-old is currently on international duty. Germany are in action at the ongoing Under-21 Euros.

However, once Die Mannschaft’s tournament is over then Bisseck will turn his attention to his club future.

According to the Corriere, he will immediately complete the move to Inter from Aarhus.

The clubs have agreed a €7 million fee.
