Inter Milan are expecting Man United to make an offer to sign goalkeeper Andre Onana for next season very soon.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, via FCInterNews, who also report that the Nerazzurri have lined up Atalanta’s Marco Carnesecchi, Shakhtar Donetsk’s Anatoliy Trubin, and Valencia’s Giorgi Mamardashvili as potential replacements.

Premier League giants Manchester United’s pursuit of Onana has become a real will-they-or-won’t-they proposition.

The Red Devils’ interest is clear and confirmed. However, as of yet it has not materialized into a concrete offer to Inter.

On the Nerazzurri’s side, there is a definite willingness to sell the 27-year-old for the right offer. However, the right offer would have to be a very high fee.

According to SportItalia, United’s first offer is likely to be for around €45 million. Meanwhile, Inter are still holding out for €60 million.

Therefore, Inter are waiting to see how hard United will push. If the English club start to low with their offer and don’t quickly start to raise it, they’ll miss out.

Inter Line Up Three Targets To Replace Man United Target Andre Onana

Meanwhile, SportItalia, the Nerazzurri already have three potential targets in mind to replace Onana should they accept a United offer.

One is Atalanta keeper Marco Carnesecchi. The 23-year-old is coming off the back of an excellent season spent on loan with Cremonese.

Inter believe in Carnesecchi’s ability to make the next step up. According to SportItalia, the Nerazzurri have already made contact with Atalanta about the possibility of signing the Italian Under-21 international.

Meanwhile, another young goalkeeper Inter are looking at is 21-year-old Shakhtar Donetsk man Anatoliy Trubin.

The Ukrainian’s contract situation at Shakhtar (he is out of contract at the end of next June and isn’t signing an extension) could definitely make a deal possible for Inter.

Lastly, SportItalia report, Inter are also still tracking Valencia keeper Giorgi Mamardashvili. However, Los Che are holding out for €30 million for the Georgian.
