Inter Milan are ready to offload wingback Valentino Lazaro this summer, and see Spezia’s Emil Holm, Real Valladolid’s Ivan Fresneda, and Feyenoord’s Marcus Holmgren Pedersen as possible replacements

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who also report that Robin Gosens could leave for the Bundesliga but that no sufficient offers have yet arrived.

On the flanks, Inter have a fairly clearly-defined first-choice pair. Federico Dimarco on the left and Denzel Dumfries begin the season as their main options.

However, as with everywhere on the pitch, the Nerazzurri want to have sufficient depth for the gruelling season ahead.

On the right, Matteo Darmian should largely play in defense. This leaves just Lazaro as a possible backup option to Dumfries.

The 27-year-old Austrian international is back following his loan spell with Torino. The Granata declined to sign Lazaro on a permanent basis.

This was Lazaro’s fourth loan spell since joining Inter in 2019 – he’s also been out on loan with the likes of Newcastle United, Borussia Monchengladbach, and Benfica.

Now, Inter are looking to finally offload Lazaro for good. The Austrian’s contract expires at the end of next June.

FCIN report that Lazaro’s agent Gordon Stipic is looking around for possible destinations. His efforts are concentrated on the Bundesliga.

Inter Milan Look At Holm, Fresneda & Pedersen As Possible Lazaro Replacements

In place of the former Hertha Berlin man, the Nerazzurri will seek out a new right-sided wingback.

FCIN report that the Nerazzurri are looking at Holm, Fresneda, and Pedersen. However, there is still a lot of work to do for them to sign any one player as a replacement.

Meanwhile, on the left FCIN confirm that Inter are listening to offers for Robin Gosens.

The interest from Union Berlin and Wolfsburg is certainly there. However, neither have yet made an offer that meets Inter’s €15 million asking price.

If Inter do sell Gosens, though they plan to go after Monza’s Carlos Augusto.
