Inter Milan are in talks to sign Bayern Munich goalkeeper Yann Sommer and midfielder Ryan Gravenberch.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri are in contact with the German champions regarding both of the duo.

In goal, 34-year-old Bayern keeper Sommer looks to be top of Inter’s list of targets for a more experience profile.

Inter and Manchester United will shortly complete a deal for Andre Onana.

The agreement is all there and the Cameroonian should complete his medicals and sign his contract at Old Trafford soon.

Since the Nerazzurri are replacing not just him but also Samir Handanovic, they will go for a couple signings in the position. Sommer looks as though he’ll be the first.

The Nerazzurri are ready to pay the Swiss international’s release clause to bring him in.

On the player’s end, Sommer is keen to make the move. He has already agreed terms on a four-year contract to join Inter.

And the Nerazzurri are in close talks with Bayern to make the deal happen now that Onana is on his way out.

Not Just Yann Sommer – Inter Milan Also Keen On Signing Gravenberch From bayern

Sommer is not the only Bayern player who Inter are keeping tabs on, however.

The Nerazzurri are also seeing about a loan deal for ex-Ajax midfielder Gravenberch.

The 21-year-old Dutchman has found playing time hard to come by since making the move to the German champions. He made just six starts last season.

Therefore, the Nerazzurri could try to bring him in.

Gravenberch would come in as a replacement for Roberto Gagliardini. The 29-year-old’s departure means that as things stand Inter have only five senior midfielders in their squad – they want to head into next season with six.

Udinese’s Lazar Samardzic is another mplayer on Inter’s radar in this search. However, the 21-year-old won’t necessarily come cheap.

Meanwhile, Roberto Pereyra is likely to join Besiktas on a free transfer. Therefore, the Nerazzurri will miss out on the ex-Juventus and Watford man who was one of their main low-cost targets.

Gravenberch, therefore, could be an expedient option for Inter. The Nerazzurri are seeing whether a deal will be within their reach in talks with Bayern.
