Inter Milan are leaning towards Atletico Madrid’s Alvaro Morata over Udinese’s Beto due to the former’s greater experience.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri are ready to move fast for Morata as their striker target for this season and won’t necessarily wait around for his release clause to drop.

Inter look ready to make their move for Morata.

The Spaniard would be their choice as a traditional Number Nine. Udinese’s Beto is also on Inter’s radar as an out-an-out centre-forward.

However, the 30-year-old former Juventus, Chelsea, and Real Madrid man’s greater experience, particularly in the Champions League, makes him the option who the Nerazzurri prefer.

Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi is reportedly an admirer, and has made the Spaniard the first choice in attack. This comes after Inter abruptly pulled the plug on talks to sign Romelu Lukaku.

Roma are also interested in bringing Morata back to Serie A. The Giallorossi have already met with the Spanish international’s agents yesterday.

But the Giallorossi are hesitant to make a big investment in a player in Morata’s age bracket.

Inter, by contrast, may not wait around.

Inter Milan Getting Ready To Make Their Move For Alvaro Morata

Inter will reportedly meet with Morata’s agents today.

There, the Nerazzurri will sound out the conditions for a move for the Spaniard. And they will make clear their intentions of making Atletico an offer imminently.

Morata does have a release clause of €21 million in his contract with the Colchoneros.

Inter don’t intend to go that high in their bid for the Spaniard.

However, the Nerazzurri will reportedly offer around €15 million.

This may be higher than the €12 million that some reports suggest the 30-year-old’s release clause could soon drop to. But Inter don’t want to risk waiting for other clubs to come in at that price.

The Nerazzurri particularly don’t want to wait and see if Juventus rival them for Morata.

If the Bianconeri were to lose Dusan Vlahovic or Federico Chiesa, they could try and bring Morata back for a third spell.

But not if Inter move fast and snap the striker up. And, Tuttosport report, that is exactly the Nerazzurri’s cintention.
