West Ham United striker Gianluca Scamacca has been offer to Inter Milan.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the 24-year-old’s representatives have proposed him as a possible attacking option to the Nerazzurri, who in any event are currently focusing on other priorities.

Inter’s search for a striker is currently in full swing.

Following the abrupt collapse of the Nerazzurri’s attempt to sign Romelu Lukaku, they are considering all possible options.

At the moment, Atletico Madrid striker Alvaro Morata seems to be top of Inter’s list.

Arsenal and USMNT striker Folarin Balogun also looks to be a major candidate after his outstanding season on loan at Reims.

Also in consideration are Udinese striker Beto and Porto’s Mehdi Taremi.

However, in all of these cases Inter would have work to do if they’re to get a deal done. Therefore, the Nerazzurri continue to look at other possibilities.

And one may have presented itself, in the form of a player who’s keen to make the return to Serie A one season after leaving.

Gianluca Scamacca Offered To Inter Milan Following Lukewarm West Ham Experience

Italian international Gianluca Scamacca is a player Inter have already shown interest in in the past.

The Nerazzurri tracked the striker closely whilst he was at Sassuolo.

In the end, Scamacca made the switch to the Premier League instead, joining West Ham United in a big money move.

However, the 24-year-old never quite lived up to expectations in East London. He could already be on his way after just one season.

FCIN report that Scamacca wants to come back to Serie A.

And Inter are one of the clubs who the Azzurri star’s agents have contacted about a possible transfer.

Moreover, FCIN report, a loan move could be possible in spite of the approximately €40 million that West Ham paid to sign Scamacca twelve months ago.

According to FCIN, Scamacca is not at the top of Inter’s shortlist of attacking targets in any event. They are monitoring other names ahead of the West Ham striker.

However, should some other targets prove out of reach, Scamacca could prove a convenient option.
