Inter Milan are preparing an offer worth €18-20 million to sign West Ham United and Italy striker Gianluca Scamacca.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, via FCInter1908, who report that the Nerazzurri are serious about trying to sign the 24-year-old, and that their offer should arrive fairly soon.

Inter’s search for a striker continues.

Atletico Madrid’s Alvaro Morata and Arsenal’s Folarin Balogun have looked to be the top names on the Nerazzurri’s list for a couple days.

However, Inter are keeping their options open. With Romelu Lukaku now off of the table, they are still seeing what opportunities arise.

And one name that has never really left Inter’s radar is that of Scamacca.

The Nerazzurri had already tracked the striker closely whilst he was at Sassuolo.

In the end, Scamacca made the switch to the Premier League instead, joining West Ham United in a big money move. The Hammers signed him for a fee of just over €40 million.

However, the 24-year-old never quite lived up to expectations in East London. He could already be on his way after just one season.

Inter Milan Readying An Official Offer For Scamacca

Whilst other teams in Serie A are interested in Scamacca’s signature, there is doubt regarding whether they could make a straight cash offer.

Roma, in particularly, have been reported to be ready to offer an initial loan deal.

Inter, on the other hand, are ready to make a cash bid.

According to Mediaset, the Nerazzurri are prepared to put €18-20 million on the table.

This would be significantly be less than what West Ham had paid for Scamacca. However, depending on how determined the Hammers are to offload the player, Inter could test their resolve.

According to Mediaset, Inter will make the offer very soon.

They are serious about trying to sign Scamacca, and will see how open West Ham would be to the deal.
