It looks increasingly unlikely that Inter Milan will offload forward Joaquin Correa this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInter1908.

Joaquin Correa has for some time looked like a player Inter would try to offload during the summer transfer window.

Whilst the Argentine arrived from Lazio with big expectations attached during the summer of 2021, he has failed to make the expected impact in his two seasons at Inter.

Injuries have played a major role in limiting Correa’s contribution and form.

Accordingly, a departure has looked to be on the cards for the 28-year-old. However, what is less certain is where his next club could be.

As of yet, there have not been any clear developments towards an imminent Nerazzurri exit for Correa.

Inter Milan Not Likely To Offload Joaquin Correa Before Transfer Window Shuts

According to Tuttosport, the prospects for Inter to find a new club for Correa are not great at this point.

The Nerazzurri have quietly probed the market for possible interest in signing the Argentine. But none of the clubs to have come forward have made concrete offers.

So far Fenerbahce have shown an interest in signing Correa. However, the player has rejected the possibility.

Meanwhile, Premier League duo West Ham United and Everton reportedly consider the Argentine to be a target.

And reports suggest that the player himself would prefer a move to a different team within Serie A.

Meanwhile, there is always the possibility of a move to the Saudi Pro League.

Clubs from the gulf state’s top flight have been spending big all summer long to bring in big name players from Europe. Less-than-ideal form has not stopped them from doing so.

Therefore, Correa would seem a fairly logical target. And reportedly Saudi team Al-Shabab have shown some interest.

However, that’s never really materialized as anything concrete.

At this stage, it still looks as though a move away for Correa this summer is not in the cards, reports Tuttosport.
