Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi has decided to start Marcus Thuram in attack and Henrikh Mkhitaryan in midfield against Bologna, in this afternoon’s Serie A clash at the San Siro scheduled to kick off at 15.00 CET.

This afternoon Inzaghi has not made any changes to the team that beat Benfica in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Firstly, in defense Benjamin Pavard keeps his place on the right of the back three.

The Frenchman has been vying with Matteo Darmian for a starting spot. However, he now looks to be the regular starter following his big money move from Bayern Munich.

Meanwhile, Italian international duo Francesco Acerbi and Alessandro Bastoni also play in defense.

Secondly, Denzel Dumfries and Federico Dimarco play on the wings. This is the same pairing that started against Benfica in midweek.

Thirdly, in midfield it is the same trio that started against Benfica.

Therefore, that means that the familiar setup of Hakan Calhanoglu, Nicolo Barella, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan start.

Meanwhile, Inter’s deadline day signing Davy Klaassen is on the bench. The former Ajax and Everton midfielder had started against Salernitana in the Nerazzurri’s last Serie A outing

Lautaro Martinez & Marcus Thuram Lead The Line For Inter Vs Bologna

Fourthly, in attack it is the same pair that has started every single one of Inter’s matches in Serie A so far.

Accordingly, it’s Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram leading the line. That same pair had also started against Benfica.

Thuram had been a slight injury doubt due to coming off against Benfica with a calf problem. However, he is ready to start against the Rossoblu in Inter’s last Serie A match before the international break.

Juan Cuadrado is in the squad having recovered from injury. However, the Colombian doesn’t start.

Meanwhile, both of Davide Frattesi and Stefano Sensi are also fit enough to make the squad, but do not start.

Meanwhile, young summer signing Yann Bisseck is on the bench once again. And Marko Arnautovic is not in the lineup due to a long-term thigh injury.
