Inter Milan are planning to try and sell Robin Gosens, and offer striker Samuele Mulattieri to Sassuolo in order to get a deal to sign midfielder Davide Frattesi done.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who detail how the Nerazzurri want to get over the finish line in their pursuit of the 23-year-old Neroverdi and Italy star.
It’s certainly no secret that Inter are pushing to sign Davide Frattesi.
The Nerazzurri have assumed pole position in the race for his signature after recent rounds of talks. However, nothing is done yet.
Moreover, Inter know that the competition is fierce for the Azzurri star. Juventus are still holding hope.
The Bianconeri could undermine Inter at the last moment as they did to sign defender Bremer from Torino last summer.
Meanwhile Roma, Brighton and Hove Albion, Newcastle United, and Paris Saint-Germain are all also fans of Frattesi.
Inter Milan To Sell Gosens & Then Offer Mulattieri To Sassuolo For Frattesi
Accordingly, Inter know that they can hardly wait around if they want to make sure they sign Frattesi.
One part of the Nerazzurri’s strategy, Tuttosport reports, is to sell Gosens. The 28-year-old German international is on the radar of Bundesliga duo Union Berlin and Wolfsburg.
Inter value Gosens at around €20 million. Therefore, if they can get a fee in that region for the former Atalanta wingback, it would get them a significant way towards signing Frattesi.
Meanwhile, Tuttosport reports, Inter will also offer striker Samuele Mulattieri to Sassuolo.
The 22-year-old enjoyed a very positive campaign on loan with Frosinone in the season just gone. He scored twelve times to help fire the Lazio-based club to promotion to Serie A.\
Accordingly, Sassuolo consider Mulattieri a target.
The cash value of the 22-year-old would be around €5 million in a deal. This could lower the Neroverdi’s cash valuation of around €35 million for Frattesi.
