Lecce, Frosinone, Bologna, and Genoa are all keen to sign Inter Milan midfielder Giovanni Fabbian on loan for next season.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri are ready to extend the 20-year-old’s contract and then send him out on loan to a team in the top flight.

Currently, Fabbian’s contract with Inter runs out at the end of June 2026.

However, the Nerazzurri want to lock down their young star past that. Fabbian is someone who they see as a part of their long-term plans, and they do not want him to edge towards the end of his deal.

Accordingly, the Nerazzurri’s intention is to extend the Italy Under-21 international’s deal.

Once they accomplish that, Inter will work together with Fabbian and his representatives to decide on a new destination for the upcoming season.

Lecce, Frosinone, Bologna & Genoa All Want Fabbian

According to the Corriere, Lecce are keen to sign Fabbian on loan next season.

However, the Calabrians are not the only Serie A team who have the 20-year-old Inter midfielder in their sights.

Frosinone, Bologna, and Genoa are all also admirers.

It therefore looks all but certain that Fabbian will get his first taste of top flight football next season.

Whilst Napoli, Lazio, and Atalanta are all interested in Fabbian, they would want him on a permanent deal. Inter do not want to sell the 20-year-old.

Therefore, Inter’s plan will be to loan the young midfielder out after his impressive season at Reggina.

Having already starred for the Nerazzurri’s Primavera team, Fabbian already looked to be at a very high level in Serie B.

There is very little doubt, then, that the 20-year-old will be ready for the next step in Serie A. The only question is which of the interested teams will give him his first taste of top flight football.
