Inter Milan are still working to offload a number of fringe players from their squad before the end of the transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who identify several names that the Nerazzurri will want to get rid of before the summer is through.

Inter have already had a busy summer transfer window, and it doesn’t look like it’s slowing down any time soon.

High-profile deals for players like Marcus Thuram and Davide Frattesi have highlighted the Nerazzurri’s summer so far.

Then there’s the wild soap opera that Inter’s abortive pursuit of Romelu Lukaku turned into. That leaves the Nerazzurri looking for a big name striker signing.

Just as important as signings, however, have been sales. Marcelo Brozovic made a high-profile move to Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr.

And it would seem to be just a matter of time before Andre Onana follows the Croat out the exit door. Manchester United are on the verge of signing the Cameroonian for a big fee.

Inter Milan Still Dealing With Fringe Players’ Sales

The Corriere highlight the fact that Inter aren’t just making these big name, big money sales this summer.

There are also some lesser-known player who they’ll want to sell.

That’s not counting players who will leave on loan like Giovanni Fabbian and Gaetano Oristanio.

For players like that, Inter want them to join clubs who’ll give them playing time and room to grow – but not to lose control of their futures.

The same is not true of some players who the Nerazzurri are simply ready to move on from.

As the Corriere highlights, Inter’s real priority is to sell the players whose deals run out at the end of next June. There would obviously be no point in loaning unwanted players in that situation out.

Therefore, Inter will have work to do finding suitors for permanent sales.

Wingback Valentino Lazaro sees his contract run out in twelve months’ time. The Austrian’s loan with Torino is done but the Granata have declined to sign him on a permanent basis, as Benfica had the previous season.

Meanwhile, Stefano Sensi has seen his loan with Monza finish. The former Sassuolo man won’t join the Brianzoli on a permanent basis, and he also has little place at Inter.

Therefore, as with Lazaro, the Nerazzurri will seek a club willing to take Sensi off their hands once and for all.

Lucien Agoume is also on the very fringes of Inter’s squad. Despite the French midfielder having shown some flashes of promise during loan spells, the Nerazzurri are ready to cash in.

And then there are two goalkeepers – Gabriel Brazao and Andrei Radu – who are both in a similar boat. Their deals also run out at the end of June 2024.

For Inter, it may well be time to simple move on from the pair, once and for all.
