Agent Michelangelo Minieri has given updates about the future of Inter Milan midfielder Giovanni Fabbian and also wingback Emil Holm.

Speaking to Italian news outlet FCInterNews after meeting with Inter, the agent made clear that there is a possibility for Fabbian to extend his contract with the Nerazzurri, whilst he was more coy about whether he and the club discussed Spezia wingback Holm.

Today, Inter held talks with Italian agent Minieri at their headquarters.

One of the main topics of discussion was young midfielder Fabbian.

The 20-year-old has come off the back of a sparkling campaign on loan with Reggina, his first in senior football.

The likes of Napoli, Lazio, and Atalanta are all reportedly interested in Fabbian. However, Inter do not want to sell the young midfielder.

Fabbian is ready for top flight football, however, based on his outstanding season in Serie B.

Teams like Bologna, Salernitana, Genoa, and Lecce would be interested in loaning the Inter midfielder. Alternatively he could stay at Inter as a replacement for Roberto Gagliardini in the squad.

Inter reportedly want to extend Fabbian’s contract until the end of June 2028 in any event.

Minieri Gives Fabbian & Holm Updates After Inter Milan Meeting

Asked about the possibility of an extension for Fabbian, the player’s agent Minieri replied “Yeah, sure. It’s possible.”

“He had an excellent experience in Serie B, he’s a smart young man.”

Asked if Fabbian will go out on loan or stay at Inter, Minieri said “Let’s wait and see what happens.”

And, Minieri was reportedly also meeting with Inter regarding another of his clients, Emil Holm.

The 23-year-old Swedish international is currently a Spezia player. However, he is likely to leave the Ligurian team.

Holm had an excellent 2022-23 campaign, but this was not enough to prevent Spezia from dropping down to Serie B.

Teams in the top flight are showing an interest in Holm’s signature. Inter are certainly among them after losing Raoul Bellanova on the right flank.

However, in response to the question of whether he had discussed Holm’s situation with inter, Minieri was effusive. “We had a general chat about a number of topics,” the agent said.
